Vancouver-based tech company continues to invest in data privacy and security as more global brands adopt its market research platform
August 25, 2020, Vancouver, BC — Rival Technologies, the company behind the world’s first purpose-built, mobile market research platform, today announced that it has completed the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 audit.
Performed by A-LIGN, a leading cybersecurity and compliance firm based out of Tampa, Florida, the audit affirms that Rival’s information security practices, policies, procedures, and operations meet the SOC 2 standards for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. Rival completed Type 1 certification in December 2019.

This certification is expected to further accelerate the adoption of Rival’s mobile messaging-based platform in the market. Earlier this year, the startup, together with its sister company Reach3 Insights, launched a Mobile Community solution to help global brands capture fast, ongoing and iterative insights on consumer attitudes, routines and sentiment. Rival also recently expanded its customer success and sales teams to meet growing demand for its solutions.
